Our
real life, fully operational Kitchen and Trattoria (which is open to
the public Thursdays – Sundays) is equipped to the highest standards.
The locations of both our properties are wonderful, and although are
deep inside the Italian countryside are near enough to the cities of
Asti and Torino to appreciate their fantastic atmosphere, gastronomical
delights and sophisticated charms. If you wish to experience the taste
and beauty of Italy, which has yet to be discovered by the tourists
then the Province of Asti awaits you.
About your experience at Try Piedmont: This is a fully inclusive holiday/gastronomic
experience – with no hidden extras! You are free to come and
go as you please. Non participating guests are welcome to join in all
excursions
(except for the cooking classes).
Each day, in addition to the normal
cooking workshops, chefs Jason (English) and Guido (Italian) will take
enthusiasts on a food extravaganza around
Piedmont, discovering real gastronomic and wine passions from the locals,
but just as importantly allowing you the opportunity to discover the
true Piemontese way of life!
This food adventure is the heart of cultural
understanding of the area and takes full advantage of Guido’s unequalled knowledge of Piemontese
food and Jason’s personal love of the area (he moved here permanently
from England in 2003) We will visit many small producers around the region,
who will impart their knowledge & skills welcomly upon us.
The real highlight however, is the ability to do what you want, when
you want and to be able to work in a real kitchen (if you wish), with
real chefs with real paying customers!
